The Ithaca Taste of the Nation Committee is pleased to announce the dates for the 4th Annual Chef’s Night Out. The event is a series of 3 sit-down dinners to be hosted at 3 elegant and different locations over the course of October and November. Each meal will be a 5-course delight created by a team of five local chefs – each preparing one of the courses. The chef teams will be different at each dinner and the menus promise to be very special.

Individual tickets are $75 for each dinner.
Series tickets to all three dinners are $195.
Tables of 8 available for $750 (includes 2 bottles of wine for table).

The money raised from ticket sales will go to support Cornell Cooperative Extension’s (CCE) Cooking Matters Program (formerly Operation Frontline) which has been operating in our area for 11 years in partnership with Share Our Strength, one of the county’s leading national organizations helping to fight childhood hunger. The program utilizes the talents of local restaurant chefs and nutrition educators from Cornell Cooperative Extension to teach food preparation and nutrition. Each six-week class series gives low-income families the tools they need to be able to eat healthier meals on a limited budget. Every class session ends with the entire group taking part in a meal comprised of what was prepared in that day’s class. Participants leave each class session with ingredients for a recipe taught that day and encouragement to try their own variation of it at home.
